Shallot Balsamic Vinaigrette


  • 1 cup olive oil

  • ½ cup balsamic vinegar

  • 2 tsp honey

  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard

  • 2 shallots minced

  • 2 cloves garlic minced

  • Salt and pepper to taste


In a bowl, combine the balsamic vinegar, minced shallots, minced garlic, Dijon, and honey, and whisk until smooth. While whisking rapidly and nonstop, slowly add the olive oil until smooth.
