This tzatziki is a drier, sour-cream style. This dip is best served cold and can be made in advance and stored in the fridge.

Yield: varies, use ingredients to taste


Note: You can use Greek yoghurt or standard yoghurt, but in this case Chef Elijah recommends sour cream as it is less prone to release water with cucumbers and tomatoes and will therefore stay dry in applications like wraps.

Sour cream or yogurt

Shredded cucumber from Cuisenart (discard excess liquid if any) – shredding helps promote cucumber flavor throughout

Fresh dill chopped

Fresh lemon juice

Salt and pepper

Instruction: Whisk items together and serve alongside falafel.
